Doggie Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest

What would make a day at BARCStoberfest even better? Our 1st annual Doggie Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest! Meet us out at Patterson Park for a day of fun at BARCStoberfest (even better, join our team for the same admission donation amount!), and register for your dog's chance to win a Dogs of Charm City gift bag if he or she can beat out the other pups in their weight class! Tickets are only $10/dog to register and proceeds will be donated to BARCS. Only 10 tickets per weight class are being released, so make sure to register ASAP so you don't miss out on the fun. 

The weight classes and schedule are as follows:

11:00am - Heat 1 (dogs up to 20lbs)

11:15am - Heat 2 (dogs between 21-45lbs)

11:30am - Heat 3 (dogs between 46-70lbs)

11:45am - Heat 4 (dogs 71lbs and up)

Please be sure to check-in approximately 10 minutes early so we can have all pups lined up and ready to go! There is a costume contest at 12pm, so we won't be able to hold anyone's pie contest spot, and no refunds will be offered. You can find us in between the beer garden and the stage (where the pumpkin is on this map). To make sure everyone has an enjoyable time, we ask that humans and their pups follow these rules & guidelines:

• No retractable leashes
• Humans cannot assist their dogs with the pies (no removing pie pieces and feeding it to them, no taking the pie out of the tin, etc.)
• If your dog is dog-reactive or food-reactive, we kindly ask that you don't have your dog participate in this contest
• Please ensure enough space in between you/your dog and the competitors around you for safety reasons
• Pies will be dog-friendly, but may contain gluten, peanut, and dairy products
